A Defining Icon of 20th-Century Design

The LC1 Lounge Chair embodies the purest Bauhaus principles of form and function. Conceived in 1928, its exposed tubular stainless steel architecture radically redefined modern interiors, shifting away from heavy, overstuffed traditionalism. This is not merely a chair; it is a piece of architectural history. With its crisp lines and industrial elegance, it instantly elevates any curated living room, executive suite, or creative studio with authentic mid-century sophistication.

Uncompromising Materiality Meets Minimalist Craft

Experience tactile luxury without imitation. The seating is crafted from 100% genuine Hair-on Hide or premium Top-Grain saddle leather, strictly selected for its natural grain and durability. These premium hides are precisely tensioned across a high-grade, hand-polished stainless steel frame. The innovative sling-style construction eliminates the need for bulky padding, achieving a visually lightweight, floating profile while wrapping you in natural, breathable comfort.

Dynamic Comfort Engineered for the Modern Body

At the heart of the LC1’s brilliance is its signature pivoting backrest (the basculant). Unlike rigid accent chairs, this ingeniously designed backrest moves fluidly, continuously adjusting its angle to mirror your shifting posture and center of gravity. Complemented by uniquely suspended, flexible leather strap armrests, the LC1 offers an extraordinarily responsive seating experience—delivering advanced ergonomic support entirely masked within its strict, geometric silhouette.
